Math Resources for Teachers

I really like this math app. You can make your own worksheets for math, with very specific parameters. Or, you can use the pre-made worksheets. If you are wanting to help students with skills and you've gone beyond what the curriculum provides you, this FREE app is a great way to produce more math worksheets.  Pro: There is a wide variety of parameters, so you can really customize your worksheets. Cons: There might be too many parameters for you, so please see me. I would be glad to help you learn how to use it.

This is a great multiplication strategies visual aid you can reproduce, in color or black and white, for your classroom. It shows four ways to solve a multiplication facts problem. Assuming these are all strategies you have taught your students, this is a good reminder. If not, teach them. Pros: This is a FREE and cute visual reminder of math fact strategies for multiplication facts. Cons: You may not have taught these to your students, yet.

I think this visual aid is awesome! I could not find the original source for it, so this is a link to Pinterest. Instead of copying it, avoid copyright issues and make your own. This would make an awesome room poster for 3rd graders to help them learn their multiplication facts.  Pros: This is easy to remember and visually pleasing. And it is free if you make your own on poster board. I would laminate it so it lasts a long time.  Cons: The original source cannot be found. Whomever had this idea deserves to be congratulated.

This is a fantastic source for resources to help students master multiplication facts. It comes with multiple files for you to download and create workbooks. Cons: It is not free but, at $21.12, it is very affordable and you can make as many copies as you need. Pro: These games are fun and the visuals are great. Here is one game example. This is a visually pleasing game you can play with your students. All you need is the packe, two colored pencils and a paperclip.
